Registered Land Surveyor

Responsibilities:Administers the survey process from job assignment to completion.  Work directly with project managers, preparing legally compliant survey results. Review information from survey teams regarding measurement of distances, directions, angles between points and elevation of points, lines, and contours on, above, and below the earth’s service. Research legal records, look for evidence of previous boundaries, and analyze data to determine the location of boundary lines. Prepare plots, maps, and reports; coordinate findings with project manager, A&E personnel, and clients.  Record the results of surveys and verify accuracy of data.  Must demonstrate the ability to meet stringent deadlines on a consistent basis.  Ability and willingness to perform and direct field operations.  Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members and clients.  Ensure complete and accurate files are maintained according to project requirements .

Qualifications: 2 - 3 years experience as a registered professional land surveyor with the demonstrated ability to work through the entire process and display proven problem solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines. Good oral, written, and organizational skills required. Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Internet applications. Valid drivers license required. Ability to travel as required. Must be licensed in state of assigned work, additional licensing in nearby states a plus.
