Responsibilities:Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural designs, attending site design meetings and visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary. Draw rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings and structures based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data. Layout and plan using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment, redesign/modify as necessary. Assist on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and advising on design corrections working in conjunction with the Project Manager. Prepare cost estimates, contracts, proposals, and technical reports for specific projects, per client standards and requirements. Analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs.
Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and engineering concepts in the wireless telecommunications industry. Demonstrated ability to work through the entire process and display proven problem solving skills. Leadership and management skills acquired through formal training. Excellent oral, written, organizational, and presentation skills required. Advance knowledge of CAD drafter. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Ability to travel as required.
